CAD Designer - Wet Gas Scrubbers
We are looking for a CAD designer with a minimum of an Associate Degree in Drafting Technology or similar degree, 2+ years of experience and is capable of supporting all aspects of a wet gas scrubber business. The successful candidate will work with the Engineering staff to prepare proposal documents , including material balances, arrangement drawings, layouts, and execute basic engineering packages (P&ID’s, vessel drawings, pipe routing drawings, plot plans, etc. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Auto-Cad and have broad experience in piping, vessel design and P&I diagrams. The preferred candidate should be comfortable performing in a multi-disciplinary role within a dynamic, matrix style organization.
Process Engineer - Wet Gas Scrubbers
We are looking for a Process Engineer. This position requires a minimum of a BS in Chemical Engineering with a 3 - 15 years of experience in process design or process support. Previous experience in refining (FCC or SRU operations) or wet gas scrubbing and slurry handling is a plus. Computer literacy is a must and understanding of advanced spreadsheet programming is highly desirable. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing to take customer specifications and convert them into proposals and basic engineering packages. Frequent communication will be required with in-house engineering, equipment suppliers and clients during project execution. The candidate must be able to develop optimized, cost effective designs, anticipating potential operating problems and incorporating suitable features to address these during the design phase of the project. Following the mechanical completion, the Process Engineer will be responsible for local commissioning/startup and ongoing support of the wet gas scrubbers for customers the U.S and in other global locations.

The successful candidate will work with the Engineering staff to produce, edit and correct process engineering drawings such as material balances, equipment arrangement drawings, layouts and basic engineering drawings such as P&ID’s, vessel drawings, pipe routing drawings, plot plans, and support structure drawings. The successful candidate must be able to follow good drafting standards and maintain block inventory and tool palettes. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Auto-Cad 2005 or above and have broad experience in piping, vessel design and P&I diagrams. The preferred candidate should be comfortable in a multi-disciplinary role.
Senior Vessel Engineer
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience. Experience preferred in fabrication of metal tanks and process vessels. Work includes design of process vessels and heat exchangers as well as industrial ductwork design. Must have demonstrated organization and planning skills to execute multi-task projects. Requires a minimum of five years experience, current PE license, BSME; MSME preferred.
Vessel Engineer
We are looking for a Vessel Engineer. The applicant should have a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 to 5 years experience. Experience required in fabrication metal tanks and process vessels. Work includes design of process vessels both metal and FRP as well as industrial ductwork design. Must have demonstrated organization and planning skills to execute multi-task projects. Current PE license is a plus.
Senior Process Engineer
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer with 2+ years of experience in the Ethanol industry for ethanol and other chemical plant projects. This position requires leadership skills to develop and lead design efforts on projects and proposals. Candidate should have demonstrated project team experience as a lead engineer working with multiple engineering disciplines to facilitate development of the basic design. Demonstrated experience with development of equipment design packages for Ethanol applications is required. The ideal candidate will have a BS or higher level degree in Chemical Engineering and will have an in depth understanding of flow sheet simulators like Aspen+.
Chemical Engineer
We are looking for a new or recent graduate of Chemical Engineering, BSChE. The position responsibilities include: applied design and optimization of in-house technologies; design support of proprietary equipment; plant check out and start-up support; operator training; and technical sales support. Domestic and international travel is required. The position requires technical, communication and leadership skills. Demonstration of working within a team environment is a plus. Knowledge of a process simulator (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, etc.) and MS Office is required.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience. Minimum BSME required. Professional engineering registration is preferred. Management experience a plus. Experience required in generating specifications for process vessels, heat exchangers, steam system equipment, and rotating equipment as well as development of technical evaluations for equipment purchase. Experience with writing and execution of subcontracts is also sought. Candidate will interface with project team members, vendors, contractors, and clients to facilitate project design. Experience in generating P&IDs and the selection of piping systems for chemical and/or utility systems is also required. Must demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills to execute multiple projects. Knowledge of chemical plant design is not required, but is desirable.
Entry Level Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for new or recent graduates of Mechanical Engineering, BSME required, with EIT preferred with the goal of eventual registration as a Professional Engineer. Responsibilities include: mechanical design of steam and chemical process systems; generation of specifications for mechanical equipment as well as development of technical evaluations for equipment purchase; and the development of P&ID’s. Candidate will interface with other project team members, vendors, contractors, and clients to facilitate project design. Candidates must demonstrate leadership, organization, multi-tasking, and planning skills.
Sr Technology Specialist
We are looking for a Sr Technology Specialist with a PhD in Chemical Engineering and 9 to 15 years experience in industry development. Candidate will be responsible for developing and evaluating new or improved technologies for sulfuric acid plants, materials, and process equipment. This individual must have demonstrated experience in R&D applications. The candidate will perform a lead role on major R&D projects; develop technical scope and cost estimates for R&D proposals; supervise work of assigned technicians; designs experimental equipment or facilities; and work with vendors, craftsmen, or technicians to build the resulting systems; The candidate must have strong leadership, organizational, communication, presentation and writing skills. Expertise in metallurgy and materials testing is preferred. Experience with flow sheet simulators like Aspen and programs like Visual Basic and EXCEL is required.
Research Engineer
We are looking for a Chemical or Mechanical Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience preferred in filtration or allied industries. Candidate will be responsible for all operations and data reporting in support of filtration research. These responsibilities include; operating pilot plants, performing or supervising routine maintenance of equipment around pilot plants, evaluating equipment and suggesting upgrades/improvements, analyzing data obtained from pilot testing, report test results and update research development plans. As part of field sampling and troubleshooting responsibilities, candidate must be able to climb ladders in chemical plants and work outside for extended periods under a variety of weather conditions. Candidate must keep detailed lab notebooks and be ready to defend research results for patent protection and patent filing support and provide continued compliance with ISO and Safety programs. Individual must be comfortable using engineering background to design prototypes and pilot plants for field demonstration or lab testing as required. Creativity, innovation, communication and supervisory skills are a plus. Need to have experience in Excel, Power Point, Word, Access, Visio and/or CAD.

Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager for our offices near the Brussels ring. The ideal candidate should be a university graduate of engineering science with +5 years of experience as project engineer or manager and +5 years of experience in construction, all related to the Chemical Process Industry. You must read, write and speak both English and French; Your responsibilities will cover a variety of tasks related to project execution for customers in the CPI. In this function you will manage all aspects of sales contracts, including management of resources, design reviews, direct purchases, track and control costs and schedule for projects from small to large in scope and value. You will also supervise site construction activities, fabrication in workshops and logistics. Hence, you have good analytical and commercial capabilities as well as a willingness to travel over 70% of the time (depending on the need). You must be able to operate in a multitasking team environment with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and other MECS team members world wide.
Construction Site Supervisor
